Headlight lenses are polycarbonate with a factory UV coating. Under Ghana's sun that coating fails, and the plastic underneath turns yellow and cloudy.
Cloudy lenses scatter light instead of projecting it, which makes night driving genuinely less safe. Restoration sands the damaged layer back in stages, polishes the lens clear, then seals it with fresh UV protection.
Done properly it lasts. Done without sealing, it yellows again within months — so we never skip that step.
